We help C-suite and BoDs build organizations. We are specialized in recruiting Group Functions – especially Finance Professionals from Specialist level to SVPs and CFOs. With our distinct functional focus, we have an unrivaled access and knowledge about the market, current high-performs, up-coming talents and diversity profiles.
Roland & Partners assist their clients in identifying, qualifying and attracting professionals that are not necessarily actively job seeking. Throughout the years, we have concurrently specialized in recruiting Female Executives and Female Talents. Based on our client’s strategic business objectives we define the ideal search strategy in order to quickly attract the best candidate; in doing so we have a distinct focus on DE&I-candidates; locally and globally – 28% of our placements in 2024 are located outside of Denmark and 73% are diversity profiles.
Our clients are predominantly large, listed international corporations with Danish HQ’s as well as PE-owned portfolio companies; they all operate locally as well as globally – which our services also mirrors. In addition, we often assist Family Owned Businesses and Multinational Clients with subsidiaries in Denmark.
Roland & Partners are headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. Also, we benefit from back-offices with Researchers in India, US and Spain allowing us to fully support our truly global clients; besides Denmark and Scandinavia we mostly conduct searches in US, Germany, UK, Benelux, Switzerland and The Netherlands. Lastly, we often help our clients with senior Executives for their GBS’s in e.g. Romania, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary etc.

Experienced Search Professionals

With a background in Tier 1 Executive Search we ensure a professional and structured process with high quality, close cooperation and personal service. The standard process in Executive Search does not vary much, hence, our most unique and significant contribution is having a distinct focus on attracting Diversity Profiles, fully understanding our functional areas and ensuring candidates are a good cultural match. Since 2016, we have ‘only’ had 6 mis-hires, naturally 6 too many, nevertheless well belove industry standards – we connect that to our thorough process and close partnership with our clients.
In order to ensure the candidate is a cultural fit and shares the corporate values; every prospect will at some point in the process (besides the usual competency-interview) also be interviewed by an experienced Business Psychologist who is able to assess and match the personal attributes with the professional requirements. The Assessment will often include an international and well-documented personality and problem-solving test (HOGAN and/or Cubiks).
Throughout the process, Roland & Partners take pride in keeping close and regular contact with the client (Hiring Manager, HR, Grandparents and Owners etc.) as well as the candidates, obviously. We ensure all parties are informed about the status, progress and feedback – we advocate for transparent, open and frequent communications based on trust and common interests.
